ESTIAMATION OF INFORMATION CAPABILITY OF ANOMALOUS GRAVITATIONAL EARTH'S FIELD FOR EXTREME NAVIGATION |

Use of global models of geopotential for estimation of data capability of anomalous
gravitational Earth’s field (AGEF) with regard to extreme navigation is studied. Various algorithms for calculation of route and areal information capability parameters which are presented by dispersion and correlation radius of measured AGEF parameter are described. Results of experimental investigation on estimation of navigation information capability of AGEF on the example of analysis of plumb line deviations and second derivatives of disturbing potential in the Sea of Okhotsk waters on the basis of model EGM-2008 data to 2190th grade are given. It is shown that second derivatives of potential have higher information capability.
