Improve the situational awareness
of the crew during aircraft braking

The energy approach to flight control applied to enhance the situation awareness of air-craft crew. Method of forecasting the braking distance of the aircraft during the rejected takeoff and landing is developed. For improving the forecasting likelihood the correction algorithm was offer. The algorithm takes into account the state of the basic means of braking – the thrust reverser and spoilers. The forecasting algorithm with correction has been tested in a wide range of airspeed and the aircraft mass under various conditions on the runway surface. The results of tests for deterministic and statistical braking processes are given in the article.
