UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE’s AIRCRAFT-TYPE LANDING TRAJECTORY-CONTROL STUDY |

This paper is devoted to study UAV’s aircraft-type landing on the runway and on the airсraft-carrying sea platform using a new approach proposed by one of the authors. The point of this approach is object’s stabilization in the so-called landing plane in which there occurs UAV’s bringing onto the glide-slope line and which composes a dihedral angle θg with a horizontal plane. It is this angle that is the landing glide-slope angle while bringing the UAV onto the glide-slope line which is the inclined-/vertical-plane interception line passing through the runway or the platform. The paper also includes suggestions on realization of this control principle and simulation results.
