THE DISSIPATION INFLUENCE ON THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ANGULAR VELOCITY MEASURING DEVICE ON THE BASIS OF THE MUTUAL PIEZOEFFECT |

There has been considered a device of inertial data – an angular velocity measuring device consisting of two orthogonal piezoplates and a mass associated to them. The elastic waves excited by the alternating current in one of the piezoplates cause the fluctuation of the associated mass. Coriolis forces resulting from the device’s portable rotation produce the alternating pressure on to the second plate. The excited current depends on the angular velocity value of the portable rotation. There was built up a mathematical model, the dependence of the output current on the frequency of the excited fluctuations and angular velocity was given.
