Третьяков Creation of modern and adequate simulator for the most popular Russian helicopter Mi-8MTV was the main purpose of development of helicopter simulators. The project has been taken for about 1,5 years. Semi-spherical screen as projection system was chosen. It is most adequate and most cost-effective for helicopter"s simulators without motion system. Instructor station is made as special console and allows to control the training. Developed simulator fully meets FNPT level III (JAA), which allows to perform up to 90 % of crew training. Developed simulator is only certified simulator of Mi-8 family helicopters in Russia. Certificate № 0001 dated 04/12/2001 was issued by Civil Aviation Authority of the Russian Federation.
