The problem of optimal architecture design of electronic aviation engines control systems is developed in the paper. The difficulty is in one variant choosing of realization of functional units and their links from the set of variants. The methodology developed in the article is based on the use of expert estimations and complex criteria of technical level of units. The units quality estimations are exposed to mathematical processing. The methodology permits to formalize the stage of optimal architecture design.
