Sokolov The technique of choice of the best design data and parameters of the small space vehicles thermal control system efficiency of components in conditions of industrial and financial restrictions is offered. By results of the analysis of a statistical material on axial thermal pipes structures the technique of calculation of effective heat pipe structure geometric parameters and for any operating conditions is offered. Application of this technique allows extending opportunities of small space vehicles due to substantial increase of their target equipment capacity without essential increase in heat pipes weight.
