Anchutin, V.E. Plekhanov An approach to development of ring resonator of micromechanical gyroscope based on elastic waves in solids using finite element method is shown. Verification of finite element method is done when calculating modal frequencies of an ideal ring resonator. Results of modal analysis of ring resonator with anisotropic material props and shape are shown. The fact that using of finite element method significantly reduces a stage of ring resonator and its suspension development is shown.
