Sholokhov The approach which allows estimating the definition reliability of coordinates in the navigation systems occasionally adjusting with using of the external information is developed. The decision of the problem is received on the base of the Markov theory methods of stochastic processes. The basic methodical errors of classical methods worsening quality of reliability estimations of occasionally adjusting navigation systems are considered. Definition ways of probabilistic characteristics of process conditions of the adjusting systems functioning are shown. The suggested approach can be widely used for an estimation of reliability of the navigation and geodetic data definition in the systems occasionally adjusting with using of external information.
