A posteriori identification of angular motion of a spacecraft under the telemetry measurements executing during spatial turn |

In the article, the basic means of mathematical processing of the onboard measurements of parameters of spacecraft motion in a mode of spatial turn are described. After that the results of post-flight processing of the telemetric information obtained during controlled turns of the Dm-SL booster unit at the ascent of commercial spacecrafts onto a target orbits within the framework of the international program Sea Launch are presented and analyzed. Rotary motion was done in automatic regime using orientation control engines of Dm-SL booster unit. The result of a study was precise identification of motion and a way of turn control for manoeuvre of spatial reorientation. The method of teachable models was applied to processing. Programmed motion relative to the center of mass of Dm-SL during turn is reconstructed, and nominal values of key specifications of algorithm of control system were determined also. The absolute conformity of telemetry data to motion of Dm-SL booster unit according to known control method of a turn (the patent of RF no. 2093433, priority 22.03.94) is demonstrated.
