Optimizing fuel distribution in combustion chamber using infra-red detection of combustion products stream |

Results of theoretical and experimental research of combustion products stream in a gas-turbine engine are presented. Mathematical model of a relationship between optical features and gas dynamics properties of combustion products stream is developed. A method of calculating the hydrocarbon fuel combustion efficiency field by the results of assessing characteristics combustion products stream radiation using tomography method. Mathematical model of optimizing fuel rate distribution over a combustion chamber cross-section is developed on the example of a gas-turbine engine afterburner duct. Details of using fundamental works for a certain product are revealed.
