Algorithm for Automatic Change Detection
in Satellite Images With Data Integration
in a Geoinformation System |

An algorithm for automatic change detection in satellite imagery is presented, including preprocessing, image
comparison, binarization, and contour analysis, followed by georeferencing and vector layer generation. The
developed algorithm is integrated into a software package that supports visualization and export of results to
geographic information systems (GIS). The effectiveness of the method is demonstrated through real-world satellite
image analysis.
