Model of the Process of Heating the Walls
of the Antenna-Feeder Waveguide Caused
by High-Power Electromagnetic Impact |

The work is devoted to the study of the processes of heating the skin layer of a waveguide when highpower electromagnetic radiation flows through it. Due to the increasing requirements for radio engineering
complexes and an increase in the power of the emitted signals, it became necessary to study the effect of
heating the surface of the waveguide on the operational characteristics of waveguides. To solve this scientific
problem, the work uses simulation modeling using automatic design systems for physical processes, as well
as a software package for calculating the temperature field of the waveguide wall. When developing the
software package, the authors used the run-through method to solve the problem of thermal conductivity to
plot the distribution of the temperature field in the section of the walls of the waveguide during the flow of
high-power electromagnetic radiation.
