Decision-Making System for Departure
of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Considering
Various Technical and Climatic Factors |

This study examines the impact of meteorological conditions on UAV flights and proposes a method for
considering UAV technical characteristics when assessing the feasibility of a flight mission under specific
weather conditions. The influence of temperature and battery wear on the capacity of onboard batteries used
as the UAV's power source is taken into account when calculating the maximum possible flight duration.
An automated decision support system which analyzes the aircraft's technical parameters, payload weight,
meteorological conditions, and provides either permission or prohibition for the flight is proposed.
