Method of Assessing the Reliability Function
of Technological Equipment by Gradual
Failures Based on the Results of Maintenance

The article describes the economic and technical feasibility of assessing the reliability function of
technological equipment by gradual failures based on the results of maintenance factor prediction in order
to determine the residual life, and implement measures for maintenance and repair. A method has been
developed for assessing the reliability function on gradual failures based on the results based on the results
of maintenance factor prediction. Using a specifi c example of the initial data, calculations have been made
of the reliability function values over a certain time interval to determine the technical condition of the
equipment. The practical significance of the presented method is shown.
