Special Software for Planning the Distribution
and Execution of Requests by a Multi-Satellite Orbital
Constellation Based on a Multi-Agent Approach |

The article discusses the software implementation of the solution to the problem of planning the distribution of
requests for observation of given ground objects by an orbital constellation (OC), consisting of 36 Earth observing
spacecraft, based on a multi-agent approach and taking into account the reconfi guration of the on-board equipment
of the spacecraft to counter emerging there are no failures in it. The problem of planning the distribution of requests
is solved taking into account the current state of the spacecraft, which can be updated at an arbitrary point in time,
for example, due to a failure of on-board equipment. Thus, the article examines the failure of the reaction wheel,
which affects the time of spacecraft turn between surveys. If the plan is without time reserves, one or more requests
will be excluded from the plan and transferred to another executing agency, if possible. The solution to the problem
of planning the distribution of requests is presented in the form of shooting plans for spacecraft performers. The
developed model and its software implementation make it possible not only to plan the distribution of requests for the
OC, consisting of more than 30 spacecraft in the “online” mode, but also to take into account the different state of
each spacecraft of the OC separately.
