Methodology for Selecting the Height
of the Placement of a Multi-Satellite Orbital Grouping
of a Communication System Based
on Minimizing the Cost of Launching Spacecraft |

This article describes a technique for choosing the orbit height of a small spacecraft as part of an
orbital troupe of a space communication system corresponding to the minimum energy costs for the
removal of all the spacecraft of the grouping. The dependence of the analysis of the infl uence of the
height of the orbit of a small spacecraft on the cost of resources to compensate for the aerodynamic
drag of the vehicle of active operation of the devices are formulated.
