AN ANALYTICAL SURVEY OF GESTURE INFORMATION REGISTRATION SYSTEMS IN THE CONTEXT OF AEROSPACE RESEARCH |

In this paper, gesture information registration systems used in contactless user interfaces are examined. The basis for classifying the discussed systems is the presence or absence of specialized sensors that require contact with the user’s articulators to function. The main groups of gesture registration systems include wearable and optical systems, with a range of variations. The advantages and drawbacks of each of the discussed systems are analyzed in the context of the aerospace industry, allowing for generalizations to be drawn about the perspectives of specific technical solutions in the context of space research.
