APPLICATION OF AIRBORNE REMOTE SENSING TO MONITOR URBAN INFRASTRUCTURE OBJECTS |
О.V. Brovkina, V.F. Mochalov
The paper demonstrates the use of airborne remote sensing hyperspectral data acquired by the Flight Laboratory of Image Spectroscopy (FLIS, CzechGlobe, https://olc.czechglobe.cz/en) for three practical tasks in the urban environment: 1) identification of asbestos-cement roofs on buildings; 2) monitoring of the thermal regime of the municipal solid waste landfill; and 3) assessment of the perceived temperature in different parts of the city. The advantages of the hyperspectral spectroscopy method, based on the analysis of detailed spectral information about objects on the earth’s surface, are emphasized. The composition of the objects materials is estimated. The objects biophysical parameters are extracted.
Keywords: hyperspectral imaging, flying laboratory, asbestos-cement roof, municipal solid waste landfill, perceived temperature.
