VERSIONS OF MODELING AND RELIABILITY EVALUATION OF REDUNDANT AIRBORNE COMPUTING SYSTEMS |

The task to create reliable, stable and radiation-resistant airborne computing systems (ABCS) for responsible application is always urgent. Application area for such systems is rather wide, but they are mostly required for the space and aviation. The possibility to reach high ABCS technical characteristics is defi ned by various factors. However, obtaining principally high level of ABCS basic technical characteristics should be based on the selected aufbau principle and using original solutions referred to the structural and algorithmic arrangement. This article discusses self-diagnosed BCS with "cold" and hybrid redundancy, which, thanks to the proposed structural organization and circuit solutions, are able to provide high-quality reliability, increased radiation resistance and fault tolerance.
