THE ANALYSIS OF THE POLARIZATION PROCESSING OF THE REFLECTED SIGNALS IN THE TRANSMITTER-RECEIVER MODULES OF AESA RADAR LONG RANGE DETECTION |
V.N. Pankrushin
The article presents the analysis of polarization processing of reflected signals which allows to classify and provide protection of RADAR from some interference, in particular discrete passive interference (DPP) of natural origin. The establishment of regularities of fluctuations of different groups of polarization parameters is of considerable interest, since these regularities are inextricably linked with the nature of the emitting object. The statistical method of analyzing the polarization state of a partially polarized wave is more complete compared to methods using the Stokes vector and the coherence matrix. The study of the statistical characteristics of the polarized structure of electromagnetic waves will be carried out using the representation of the wave superposition of two orthogonal components in bases of different types. This will allow us to establish not only the statistical properties of the groups of parameters studied, but also the nature of the change in these properties during the transition from one basis to another.
Keywords: full polarization scanning, discrete passive interference polarization of radio waves, radar stations, polarization scattering matrix, incoherent accumulation.
