METHOD FOR INCREASING THE RELIABILITY OF A SPACECRAFT’S RADIO RECEIVING DEVICE THROUGH THE USE OF MICROELECTROMECHANICAL SYSTEMS |
M.V. Ryzhov, I.P. Ryzhova, I.I. Dolgov
The domestic manufacturers of the electronic component base are faced with the task of providing the defense industry with military and space class products. One of the key obstacles in this direction is the lack of our own modern production and technological base. In such a situation, it is advisable to consider alternative options for constructing electronic devices with improved characteristics. For example, based on microelectromechanical systems. The accumulation of experience in solving basic technical problems (ensuring high reliability, sealing at low temperatures, «hot» switching) allows you to create microelectromechanical systems for the microwave range and above, up to the optical, superior to traditional electronic devices in terms of insertion loss and functionality. The article presents a method for improving the reliability of the device through the use of microelectromechanical systems, and also considers the main approaches in the application of technologies of microelectromechanical systems to create radio receivers of high-frequency and microwave frequencies. The principles of work are described and the basic characteristics of some microelectromechanical systems of foreign manufacturers are given.
Keywords: reliability, radio receiver, microelectromechanical systems, electronic component base, failures of computing modules.
