VIDEO SURVEILLANCE OF OBJECTS IN THE VISIBLE AND INFRARED AREAS OF THE SPECTRUM

The use of spectrozonal technologies and television systems is due to the continuously growing tendency to observe objects in the surrounding space, where there is a sharp increase in the specific gravity of such systems working in the TV format due to updating the element base and using methods and means of highspeed computing. Registration of the radiant flux in the visible and near infrared regions of the spectrum, as well as the radiated radiant flux in the middle and far infrared regions of the spectrum, has its own characteristics that are important for video surveillance of objects. A spectral portrait of objects is considered with reference to two sections (zones) of registration of the radiant flux located in the VI and IR regions of the spectrum. Based on the amplitude values of the TV and TPV signals, the number of combinations determining their possible joint distribution in two channels can already be a large number. The information vector of STR can be characterized by the ratio of the values of the image signals of two zones (sections) of registration of the radiant flux obtained in the TV and TPV channels of the spectrozonal system. Moreover, based on the amplitude values of the image signals U(t)Δλ1 and U(t)Δλ2, three characteristic situations of the possible state of the information vector are possible, which represent cases when J1(t) < 1, J2(t) =1 and J3(t) >1. Structural diagrams of two and multispectral systems for video surveillance of objects are shown. When displaying multi-spectral images for visual analysis of video information, either individual image signals of several sections (zones) of registration or one synthesized resulting signal of a TV image can be used. The application of the principle of imaging the right stereo pair in different spectral regions (zones), in comparison with the fixed regions (zones) of registration for the formation of RGB images of the left stereo pair, will: improve the detection characteristics of the system. These include: increasing the range of observation and increasing the probability of selection of objects, the effective use of the properties of the objects themselves for their round-the-clock observation, etc. The construction of vision systems with different spectral vision on the left and right channels of the video information system will increase their efficiency in various automatic devices, including robotics devices.
