Bolotova The article describes the basic principles of building intelligent systems in the aviation industry. The structural-functional scheme of intelligent system for software and hardware implementation of constructive operational-advising expert systems in aircraft manufacturing has been developed, logical dependencies that implement the functions of creating a database are provided. The principles of implementation of the operator’s actions vectors by its secondary model based on design variables and attributes, correlation of the characteristic with the performance of work, thresholds of impaired performance and conclusions relating to the characteristic are disclosed. It is shown that the core of any intellectual system is a knowledge base that describes a specific subject area. Knowledge representation in artificial intelligence systems is not only a fundamental concept, but also a crucial aspect of their development. Model of knowledge representation allows to translate the passive information in the form of drawings and documents in the active information resource. It is postulated that the choice of the correct model of knowledge in expert systems in the aviation industry is important, and in most cases becomes the basis for choosing an approach to solving a problem.
