Aerospace Instrument-Making Annotation << Back OPTIMAL PATH FINDING FOR AN UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE MOVING INSIDE A WOODLAND V.S. Fetisov, I.A. Kabirov, R.A. Kilmetov, V.V. Neretina The paper describes the solution of the optimal path finding task for an unmanned aerial vehicle of special type moving inside spaces with multiple obstacles, such as woodlands. The finding scheme based on genetic algorithm which includes the special procedure generating initial population of chromosomes. This procedure uses the Best-First Search algorithm. Comparatively to common genetic algorithm the proposed solution obtains higher degree of approximation of result to the shortest path and possesses acceptable processing speed.
