IMPROVEMENT OF METHOD INVESTIGATION OF TERMAL
CONDUCTIVITY OF MATERIALS OF GTE DETAILS UNDER INFLUENCE
OF CENTRIFUGAL ACCELERATIONS |

The origin method and device with a radial and district heat conductors for
investigations and determination of thermal conductivity of part materials of gas
turbine engines (GTE) on the spin rig using the vacuum chamber in conditions
of centrifugal accelerations. The results of the investigations of unsteady thermal
state of heat-conductors in the fi eld of centrifugal radial and district accelerations
are given. From the analysis of the results of experimental investigations it may
be stated that the thermal conductivity of the heat-conductors increases with an
increase of a rotation frequency. The anisotropy of thermal conductivity in the
radial and circumferential directions is observed. Thus, this increase of the thermal
conductivity signifi cantly associated with an increase of the electron middle velocity
under the infl uence of centrifugal accelerations. The obtained results are of practical
importance for the assessment of the thermal state of the parts of aircraft engines.
