The article presents the method of the substantiation requirements for complex unmanned
aerial vehicles and its subsystems on the scale of reliability. The method
consists of two stages. The fi rst step is to defi ne the requirements for reliability of a
UAV. Requirements for reliability of UAVS are defi ned in terms of air combat and
electronic warfare. The second stage is determined by the rational distribution of
the required levels of reliability of subsystems the UAV, providing specifi ed at the
fi rst stage reliability.
