Bykovsky The course correction method for autonomous alignment of the strapdown inertial navigation system on stationary base was reviewed. The optional angular rate sensor with an opportunity of turn about vertical axis SINS on fi xed angles was proposed for using in the SINS. The equations for calculation and compensation the SINS course error and drift rate of the additional angular rate sensor are showing.
