Kalyagin The modern level of scientifi c-technical progress allows for the period of the life cycle of the aircraft repeatedly to improve design-technological solution of its individual elements, assemblies and subsystems that may lead, respectively, to changes in its tactical and technical characteristics and, consequently, its effi ciency. The task of the designer is to conduct early development of the aircraft the analysis of possible changes of these characteristics depending on the magnitude of possible changes of the survivability of the airframe and, as a consequence, assessing the impact of these changes on the effectiveness of the aircraft. As a preliminary criterion for assessing such changes may be considered the probability of overcoming the air defense system of the aircraft in the normal and in the modifi ed version. The paper presents one approach for developing models of assessment of infl uence of level of survivability of the airframe of an aircraft on the effectiveness of its use in counteracting anti-aircraft artillery complex. As the original version of the aircraft was selected opportunistic real aircraft standard version and in a variant of the proposed modification with the increased survivability of the design of the consoles of the wing.
