METHEOROLOGICAL SPACECRAFT HELO-HEOPHYSICAL INSTRUMENTS METROLOGICAL SUPPORT |

The first results of meteorological orbiting spacecraft onboard research instruments metrological support are presented. The importance of proper accurate calibrations of these instruments is justified by space weather research and forecast purposes. The space weather is affecting radio communication and conditions of radio-electronics functioning at the high latitudes and therefore it observation and forecast is under control of the Russian Federation legislation. We describe parameters of the calibrated instrument setup used onboard of the Electro-L meteorological spacecraft. We consider the calibration of one of the instruments, SKL-E spectrometer in the energy range of 0.15…2.0 MeV in detail. The calibration traceability to the Russian primary standard is demonstrated. The potential ways of further development are shown.
