MEASUREMENT OF FLOWRATES AND TURBOPUMP SPEEDS BASED ON A NEW-GENERATION DIGITAL TRANSDUCER IN CONTROL AND EMERGENCY PROTECTION SYSTEMS DURING GROUND FIRING TESTING OF LIQUID-PROPELLANT ROCKET ENGINES AND PROPULSION SYSTEMS |

The main methods of measuring rotational speed by means of induction transducers are reviewed. Results of development of a transducer employing a frequency measurement method based on floating threshold of volt-second area of turbine flowmeter and turbopump speed transducer signals for application in emergency protection systems, as well as in control and regulation systems of liquidpropellant rocket engines during ground testing are presented.
