Aerospace Instrument-Making Annotation << Back INFORMATION AND SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT TOOLS FOR MONITORING ECOLOGICAL AND ECONOMIC STATE OF THE ARCTIC ZONE A.V. Latyshev, M.V. Khacumov, S.V. Khacumov Analysis of ecological situation with the use of open sources shows that the Arctic zone of Russia is exposed to real danger of man-made pollution which requires the creation of sophisticated monitoring systems for the prevention of environmental disasters. In the article the problem of integration of the sources containing information that can be used for building databases and knowledge bases, configuration, and validation of models quality and calculation of possible risk of man-made and natural anomalies is considered. The concept of the automated workplace as an intelligent system equipped with program tools for monitoring of the territory, data exchange with information sources, highperformance information processing and support of decision-making based on the analysis of current and historical data of Earth remote sensing is offered. Ecological and economic models which can be an integral part of mathematical tools and software of analytical system for operational monitoring of the Arctic zone are offered.
