Sotnikov This article is devoted to the results of research concerning justification of external appearance and technical features of autonomous global navigation system (SAGN) for unmanned underwater vehicles (NPA) of heavy class and long endurance with almost unlimited range of autonomous operation. The conditions to ensure a reliability of the navigation system operation have been determined in case of a very long time of autonomous mission of unmanned underwater vehicle.
