METHODS TO IMPROVE THE SITUATIONAL AWARENESS OF THE AIRCRAFT CREW ON RUNWAY MODES |

Issues of information support of crews are examined by specialists Institute of Control Sciences RAS and JSC «MIEA» for over 30 years. To reduce the stress load on the crew methods of informing about the current status and prediction of critical events are offered. Methods are based on the energy approach to flight control. Algorithms for predicting the possibility of a safe takeoff in the presence
of tall obstacles on the flight path were obtained. On braking modes at various conditions of a runway the algorithms of calculation of the brake way endpoint are found. Ways of correction of the predicting results, considering sequence and operating time of all braking devices, are offered. Testing of prediction algorithms in all area of operational conditions has been held.
