Operative planning method of satellite repeater's
time-frequency resource under unsteady
input stream messages

The fundamental limitedness of satellites repeaters’ frequency-energetic resource (radio resource) as well as expanse of the serviced area and subscriber base of the satellite repeaters require operative radio resource’s redistribution between active and passive radio routes to improve the efficiency of using it. In this work based on the DVB-RCS standard is considered the problem of the planning of distribution of the time-and-frequency resource of the satellite repeater’s return link. Analysis of existing approaches to the problem of the operative distribution of the satellite re-peater’s resources allows to find out the main disadvantages of the algorithms used. As model of non stationary message stream formed by voice subscribers, by taking into account the signal suppression in pauses, is used modulated Markov process and its particular case-interrupted Poisson process. It is formulated and solved the problem of optimal planning of the return link’s resource based on structural dynamics’ models. The novelty of the proposed approach consists in considering the dynamics of the non stationary traffic in the performing of the task of planning of the satellite repeater’s time-and-frequency resource.
