Measuring the average temperature
of the turbo shaft engine gases
using different types of sensors

In this paper, we consider the methods for gas-turbine engines gas-temperature meas-urement using thermal and jet-acoustic sensors and calculating the average parameter for control signal of control systems and diagnostics. The temperature inside the com-bustion chamber is distributed very unevenly across the section and reaches 350 C, ne-cessitating the use of multiple temperature sensors and further parameters averaging. The control system can unnecessarily change the engine operation mode when understating the average temperature due to violations of the identity of the connection resistance of the thermocouple connections increasing the temperature of the gases exhausted, that can cause burning of the turbine blades. We propose a method for measuring the mean medium temperature with nonuniform temperature field and the device for its implementation using the two-wire line to the measuring unit and the same type of standard thermistors (as temperature sensors) as the chain phasing elements, that would provide efficiency, ease of installation and maintenance, high reliability and maintainability. The unique device of averaging the gases temperature using thermo-couples with increased speed and accuracy of production ACS control action to the en-gine, as well as simple to manufacture and reliable in operation circuit for measuring the frequency sensors average temperature, due to the absence of a computation unit.
