Forest fire danger caused by focused sunlight action monitoring taking into account MODIS device data |

There are reasons of forest fires occurrence, which have the mixed character. It is pos-sible of forest fuel ignition concerns that as a result of focused sunlight action. Possibility of forest fuel layer ignition in the conditions of concentration of a solar energy at level 15-17 timesт from natural value is theoretically and experimentally shown earlier. Glass containers, their splinters and large drops of pitch can serve as energy concentrators. Physically proved method of forest fire estimation in the conditions of focused sunlight action is developed. Now has ripened necessity of developing of technology for needs of a forestry on the basis of this method of definition of fire danger of forests. The project of subsystem for display of remote sensing data of the Earth from space with a view of monitoring of forest fire danger caused by action of the focused sunlight is considered in present paper. The given subsystem is based on use of data of sensing by MODIS device from Terra satellite. The typical territory of boreal forests zone (Timirjazevsky timber enterprise of Tomsk region) is considered. The original technique of forests classification under their characteristics (land inventory data) and the basic meteorological indicators, namely cloud presence in the given territory, received on satellite data from MODIS device, is used for estimation of forest fire danger level.
