The article describes the conditions for ensuring the reliability of radar measurements on the basis of analysis of the visual perception of the object of measurement, which is the standard of reliability of the information for the person. Found that the transmission of information in two related but independent steps: mapping and measurement. The mapping information is parallel or central projection. Radar data transfer is carried out by the central projection. Accuracy of mapping for central projection is performed only on two conditions: display must be performed a couple meters, separated by a known base, the axis of which is directed to the object. The accuracy of measurement of infor-mation is characterized by relative error, being an analog precision. It has two inde-pendent estimates: the reliability of measuring the size and reliability of the measurement form. It is shown, that the current radar measurements do not have confidence.
