Aerospace Instrument-Making Annotation << Back MINIMAX CONTROLLER DESIGN APPLICATION TO LINEAR SYSTEM WITH UNCERTAIN MATRIX PARAMETERS R.L. Leibov A minimax controller design method is presented that gives the acceptable linear-quadratic closed-loop performance over a range of plant parameters. This method makes use of a multivariable linear model having uncertain matrices those describe the difference between nonlinear and linear models. Feedback gain coefficients on each step are calculated for worst plant parameter changes. The results of proposed controller design method application for an aircraft turbofan engine are presented.
