Lovitsky Problems of total pressure measurement using second family “ППД-1М” Pitot tube was considered in the paper. Decision for relative error of total pressure perception was obtained for simplified Pitot tube model with flow channel in damping chamber. Total pressure waste in second family “ППД-1М” Pitot tube due to drainage flow in damping chamber was confirmed at flight tests. Problems are important due to influence for airspeed measurement at aircraft flight and technical questions at flight tests.
