Aerospace Instrument-Making Annotation << Back Algorithm for calculating the parameters of the Earth's atmosphere Petrov I.O. Considered non-traditional algorithm for calculating the parameters of the Earth's atmosphere, allowing to count the values of these parameters exactly match the GOST 4401–81 at any point of the trajectory. This is clearly demonstrated by the fact that the proposed algorithm allows to calculate atmospheric parameters without using any simplifications and without a linear interpolation of tabular data. The demonstrated approach to calculating parameters of the atmosphere shows its versatility, simplicity and applicability to the manoeuvres of aircraft at all stages of the flight in the atmosphere at altitudes up to 1 200 miles. This algorithm is useful also in cases of long-term prognosis of flight spacecraft in low Earth orbits, and estimating the points fall of the emergency vehicles. The proposed algorithm is essentially the most adequate mathematical model of the atmosphere without loss of precision due to the piecewise difference scheme computation. By replacing the tabular data for the coefficients of the polynomials developed algorithm can be adapted to any standard atmosphere.
