ANALYTICAL PROGRAMMING OF ANGULAR TURNS OF A SPACE VEHICLE BY USING ROCKET ENGINES |

By using a method of analytical construction of composite trajectories from typical segments we researched dynamics of angular turns of a space vehicle by means of two rocket engines, for which the rising of the engine power during starting and its decreasing during stopping occurs in accordance with the proper exponential dependences. We have derived simple formulas to calculate the control parameters in a control law of the angular acceleration, which in addition to the specified turn angular have two engine time constants during start and stop. The results are applicable for designing of future-technology space vehicles and missile upper stages and in development of onboard con-trol algorithms. This method is very useful to resolve different complex control problems. Key words: space vehicle, angular motion, differential equations, analytical solutions, rocket engine, con-trol law.
