MEASUREMENT OF THE INCIDENCE ANGLE BETWEEN AIRCRAFT AND SMALL-SIZE OBJECT BY THE MEANS OF AUTONOMOUS ONBOARD RADIO-LOCATOR WITH ONE OMNIDIRECTIONAL ANTENNA |

The new method and it’s realization is the measurement of the incidence angle between aircraft and small-size object. The aircraft has an autonomous radio-locator with one omni directional antenna, that forms with the temporary compound probing signal two fixed block-spheres. The method guarantees high effectiveness of the system with the help of object direction-finding on the final stages of the aircraft control. The method is used on the distances commensurable with the aspect ratios of the object in the conditions of short-term rapprochement of the aircraft and the object.
