The method to define meteorological parameters with microware side looking radar |

The new method for determining meteorological parameters using airborne microwave side looking radar is suggested, where by relevant selection of geometrical angles the differences of the beam passed distances from emitter to pair of points used in two-distances two-wavelengths method are equated. It is shown, that use of newly suggested parameter – of attenuation – differential attenuation, makes it possible to exclude the operation of dividing to various values of differences, which was used in all points along the side route of emissions.
