The structure of airborne intellectual environment is proposed. The methods and principles of the integrated airborne expert system development are described. The block diagram of the system is given. The situational approach for building airborne knowledge bases and decision making during aircraft control and flight task implementation is proposed. The obtained results can be considered as a basis for developing experimental and prototype models of hardware and software for intellectual support systems and airborne expert systems of integrated airborne equipment sets of aircrafts of the new generation.
