Aerospace Instrument-Making Annotation << Back Lines of position in item navigation about properties of lines of position of the second order in item navigation V.S. Marukhnenko Conic sections as possible lines of position in item navigation are considered. Their use allows to minimise influence of the geometrical factor on accuracy of positioning. It is offered, for the general case, algorithm of a choice of pair lines of position. They provide the minimum factor of geometry. Areas of uncertainty of positioning are estimated at use as lines of position of an ellipse, a hyperbole and a parabola which are defined by results of range measurements.
