Research features of display information by ship indicators of course and glidepath indicators with pendular stabilization of optical axes |

This article suggests a mathematical model of the course displays and glidepath indicators (CD/GI) which are used for visual landing of helicopters on naval vessels boards during the day and night, in simple and adverse weather conditions. Using this model the factors affecting on optical axis stabilization accuracy are defined and there is provided quantitative and qualitative estimation of CD/GI optical axis fluctuations amplitude. Also this article analyses the influence of CD/GI stabilization errors on transmission accuracy of information on careen and trim into the air. Visibility zones of CD/GI signals are built according to the laws of geometric optics over a distance from the ship in the standard position and in case of deviation from the true vertical. The CD/GI signal distortion range caused by fluctuations relatively to the true vertical in the careen and trim plane is also calculated and compared. Overlapping of these zones allows to determine the areas in which CD/GI signal undergoes a change, which is caused by CD/GI fluctuations relatively to the true vertical.
