ADJUSTMENT OF THE INTEGRATED RADIO INERTIAL CONTROL SYSTEM FOR LOW-ALTITUDE FLIGHT CONDITION |

Using mathematical simulation methods the UAV integrated altimeter was investigated and adapted for real operation condition. A strategy and logic for the integrated adaptive altimeter operation is suggested; feasibility for the underlying surface parameter in-flight estimation is investigated; the Kalman filter with enhanced error protection is adjusted for the UAV operation conditions; procedures and logic are developed for bias stability error estimate use in the determined elevation altitude setting calculation under the radio altimeter failure.
