Modeling of Local Induction Heating in the Problems
of Diagnostics of Aircraft Liquid Systems |

The paper considers a mathematical model of a mobile induction generator of a heat mark, formalizing the
processes of heat and mass transfer in a non-Newtonian fl uid moving in a cylindrical metal pipeline with a
dynamic viscosity specifi ed by the Carreau rheological model for problems of diagnostics of the technical
condition of liquid systems of aircraft. The mathematical model includes a description of the turns of a coil
with a conductor, a steel wall of a pipeline and a flow of non-Newtonian fl uid. The model is formalized on
the basis of the Ampere law, the equations of conservation of momentum, mass and energy. The results of
modeling the evolution of electromagnetic, velocity and thermal fi elds under various modes of fl uid flow
and electromagnetic pulse of the induction generator are presented. A qualitatively correct description of
the main laws of heat and mass transfer occurring in the model environment when introducing thermal
disturbance by induction is shown.
