METHODOLOGY FOR EVALUATING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE SCIENTIFIC AND METHODOLOGICAL APPARATUS FOR TESTING AVIATION EQUIPMENT |

The article is devoted to the issue of evaluating the effectiveness of the scientific and methodological apparatus for testing aviation equipment. A technique is shown that makes it possible to evaluate the increase in the effectiveness of tests due to the improvement of the existing or the development of a new scientific and methodological testing apparatus. The efficiency of the technique is demonstrated by a concrete example from the practice of testing aircraft. A feature of the methodology is the procedure for calculating the amount of information received about the test object, depending on the number of indicators used to evaluate the object. In addition, an algorithm for determining the minimum sufficient number of flight experiments required to confi rm the specifi ed characteristics of the aircraft is considered.
